Insema listens before speaking, learns before teaching, questions before answering.

Inspired by the Linden trees (Tilia) and the unique symbiosis of its roots with fungi, Insema is convinced that it is only via cooperative approaches that we can successfully address and solve the interrelated environmental challenges our societies are facing.

Working together and celebrating the diversity of nature – biological, cultural, and beyond – emphasizing the interdependence of all its elements.

Adrien Lindon

Born and raised in Milan (Italy) in a French-Italian family, Adrien has studied natural sciences and biodiversity conservation, and worked since the earliest steps of his career in the multidimensional – and sometimes challenging – field of biodiversity management applied to development projects and businesses internationally.

Adrien teaches ‘Biodiversity Impact Measurement‘ at the ESSEC Business School and intervenes in the Biodiversity and Business Executive Program of the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability (EIIS)

After 10 years within consulting firms, Adrien decided to create Insema to promote a truly collaborative approach towards nature mainstreaming within our economies and society.

Core Values

Collaboration

Collaboration

No one holds the Knowledge nor the Truth. It is only by working together, via win-win partnerships valuing complementary expertise and visions, that we can identify and implement the most appropriate solutions for nature, organisations and people.

Pragmatism

Pragmatism

Words help to raise awareness, but actions are what matter eventually. An imperfect plan that drives real positive change is better than a perfect plan that leads to nothing.

Integrity

Integrity

Trust, intellectual honesty and respect are the foundation of good quality work. Trade-offs are necessary on a lot of things, except on those principles.

Creativity

Creativity

Tackling the biodiversity crisis is a shared responsibility which requires thinking outside the box, beyond pre-conceived ideas and previously tested models. Imagination, along with courage, is necessary.
